Palm Coast Data, which recently announced that it will absorb Kable Fulfillment Services into its brand and move the Colorado and Illinois operations down to Palm Coast, FL, debuted a new service this week called Custom Solution Services (CSS), which is designed to provide specialized fulfillment solutions to publishers and membership organizations. The offering is an extension of services first provided by the company exclusively to membership organizations in 1999, according to PCD president John Meneough.
“CSS provides the marketer with an opportunity to take complete control of their marketing efforts without the limitations of traditional fulfillment systems,” Meneough said in a statement. “For instance, CSS combines all subscriptions, purchased products, events attended and more into a single view for each customer—allowing publishers to tailor promotion opportunities that maximize profitability.”
For membership organizations, CSS will offer a single view of member dues, contributions, events, products and more. Meneough says the objective is to leverage the proven front and back-end support systems of Palm Coast Data by coupling them with a truly customer-centric database that the client can exploit to generate additional revenues.
“CSS provides all the benefits of an in-house system, without any of the headaches. We do the heavy lifting, the client controls it,” added executive vice president Jim Patterson, who leads the CSS initiative.
CSS will be fully staffed with fulfillment professionals trained to maximize the benefits of the system.

Implementing the idea is much more demanding — especially today, when it seems that all the niches have been tapped, all the marketing techniques exploited, and all the technologies already invented.
