The Players’ Club, published by Doubledown Media LLC in partnership with former baseball player Lenny Dykstra, will feature financial advice for professional athletes. REDESIGNS/RELAUNCHES

Success will be targeting well-educated professionals between the ages of 30 and 55 when it relaunches in March. Content includes business, relationships, wealth and well-being.

Beginning with its March issue, Latina will become more stylish. Fashion and beauty will move up in the magazine and double in pages, as entertainment and food coverage will be minimized. The style pages will change from displaying moderately priced items to featuring luxury pieces. Additionally, the magazine plans to increase its rate base by 8.7 percent to 500,000 with the February issue.

The History Channel Magazine will be increasing its circulation to 275,000 effective with the March/April 2008 issue. Since its launch in 2003, the magazine has seen a 175 percent increase in circulation.

FamilyFun Magazine’s total adult audience has jumped by 8.5 percent from 4.7 million in spring 2007 to 5.1 million in fall 2007. This increase represents an 18 percent growth from last year.

The New York Times Style Magazine will soon launch NYTimes.com/T Magazine as an online publication that will show the magazine in a digital format as well as provide a daily update on the Web for T readers. Site features include a blog posting the newest fashion and style news called “The Moment.”

BrickJournal, a two-year-old digital magazine for Lego enthusiasts, will launch a quarterly print edition in February 2008, which will be sold in bookstores and on newsstands nationwide.

Folding

Newport Communications will shutter Roadstar Magazine in January...Martha Stewart Omnimedia will fold Blueprint following its Jan/Feb issue.
