Web optimization software provider Omniture Inc. recently announced the launch of its Social Media Optimization Solution tool, which provides Omniture SiteCatalyst customers with actionable insight into social media activity, performance and impact.
The solution provides the engagement and interaction reports and dashboards needed to better determine and enhance ROI by allowing customers, for example, to see a spike in Twitter or Facebook activity around their brand that reveals a customer service issue or the potential impact on conversion rates and revenue for visitors coming from a Facebook or iPhone application.
“Online marketers have been struggling to gather data across the breadth of social media channels and connect the dots between social media investments, marketing campaigns and business results,” Brett Error, CTO/EVP, products, Omniture, said in a statement. “The Social Media Optimization Solution from Omniture is a more comprehensive means to help customers overcome these barriers and gain more actionable insight into what social media efforts are or are not driving the results they want."
In addition to previously announced SiteCatalyst social media measurement capabilities (Facebook, Twitter, viral video and smartphone measurement), the tool also includes API, blog and social news aggregation measurement, as well as social media best practices via Omniture Consulting Services, which is comprised of more than 200 consultants worldwide.
This solution is available to all Omniture customers using SiteCatalyst version 14.
