Fulfillment Services Firm SFG Sees Hiring Spike

10 newly created positions to be added across tech, analysis and operations.

Strategic Fulfillment Group says it's looking to fill 10 newly created positions across various departments in the company. The job growth comes as the Big Sandy, Texas-based firm takes on new clients and expands its services.

According to SFG's president and COO Tony Pytlak, the technology side of the operation has seen an uptick from customers, but growth is coming from traditional services, too, as publishers expand their brands horizontally. "SFG's technology-oriented solutions are gaining quite a bit of momentum as new and existing partners experience the competitive advantage of our relational database and integrated services such as real-time Web services, business intelligence, database marketing, merge/purge services, and electronic check processing," Pytlak tells AD. "Traditional business models are also growing as publishers extend their brands into other business models such as product/catalog and continuity marketing."

The new positions are not focused in any particular group or service line, adds Pytlak. "They're spread across many different departments, primarily technology, analysis and operations. Other positions are also being designed to staff some new business initiatives and expansion of our technology-oriented solutions."

The hiring spike was not preceded by any management changes or organizational realignments. Pytlak says the management team is in solid organizational structure after a few years of new hires. The company currently has more than 200 employees.
