Audience Development (formerly Circulation Management)—“Connecting Media and Markets”—is the magazine and media industry’s most comprehensive and authoritative source on strategic trends and ongoing developments affecting cross-platform community building. The magazine, Web site (www.audiencedevelopment.com) and annual Audience Development Conference & Exposition focus primarily on providing upper and mid-level aud dev professionals with the information they need to effectively build and manage a customer base across their brand’s media platforms—print, digital and live events.

TONY SILBER
General Manager
Tony Silber is general manager of Audience Development and FOLIO:. He was part of the acquisition team at Red 7 Media that purchased FOLIO:, AD, and their related products in August 2004. Before the acquisition, Silber in 2003 launched M10, the executive-level magazine and information service for the magazine industry. Prior to M10, Silber was publisher of FOLIO: and Circulation Management when they were owned by Primedia. Silber was also editor of FOLIO: from 1998-2000. Silber has a bachelor's degree in history from the State University of New York at Albany.

Bill Mickey
Executive Editor
Bill Mickey is executive editor of Audience Development magazine, the publishing industry’s top resource covering every aspect of audience development, circulation management and marketing. Bill was formerly senior editor of FOLIO:, AD’s sister publication, also published by Red 7 Media. Prior to joining Red 7, Bill was editor of EContent, where he was instrumental in relaunching the 30-year old magazine covering the digital content market. Before that, Bill was editor of Online, a trade publication serving information professionals in the online database and electronic information industry. He has held a variety of editorial roles in magazine publishing for 15 years.

T.J. Raphael
Associate Editor

T.J. Raphael is the Associate Editor at both Audience Development and EXPO magazines. Raphael graduated with honors from Purchase College in Westchester County, NY with a Bachelor's Degree in journalism accompanied by a minor in political science. She has reported full-time for the New York Daily News where she worked on stories ranging from entertainment to crime. She has been a contributing writer to The Village Voice "Runnin' Scared" news blog and the Westchester County Business Journal. Miss Raphael has worked as a staff reporter for the Albany, NY based weekly newspaper The Legislative Gazette. Additionally, Miss Raphael has also acted as a full-time writer and Editorial Assistant at White Plains Patch. Her work has been cited by organizations such as the Fiscal Policy Institute, the New York Civil Liberties Union and USLaw.com. She lives in Mamaroneck, NY.

Royden Seki
Art Director
Royden Seki is a NYC-based freelance art director. Along with the redesign of Circulation Management, now Audience Development, he also participated in the redesign of another Red 7 Media title, Agenda magazine.

JOHN ELLERTSON
Advertising Director
John Ellertson is the National Accounts Manager for Audience Development and FOLIO:. He joined Red 7 Media in 2005 as a Regional Sales Manager for FOLIO: and Audience Development magazines. Before joining Red 7, John was the National Sales Manager for the leading interactive entertainment trade magazine, IE (GameWEEK). He also worked for AirAge Media as a Regional Sales Executive and has more than 10 years of advertising sales experience.

KERRY SMITH
President
Kerry founded Red 7 Media, LLC in 2002 after a 7-year stint at Primedia, Inc. where he ran a group of 8 business-to-business magazines including American Demographics, PROMO, Corporate Meetings & Incentives and others. Prior to his joining Primedia, Kerry and his father ran their own publishing company which they started in 1987 and sold to Cowles Business Media in 1996. Kerry’s passion is creating and launching quality information products that serve niche markets and surrounding himself with talented, passionate teammates who excel at bringing them to life and serving their markets.
