Jim Jess
Circulation Manager
Art & Antiques

Jim has worked as a circulator in magazine publishing for 8 years, first with the Intertec Publishing division of PRIMEDIA, and presently with CurtCo Media Labs, as circulation manager of Art & Antiques. Last year, he was asked to assist in the sale of Art & Antiques, and later managed the transition of the magazine's circulation to its new home as a member of the Robb Report/CurtCo Media family of fine publications. At Intertec, he managed the circulation for American City & County, Access Control & Security Systems, and Waste Age. He has worked with several of fulfillment companies and has been responsible for BPA and ABC statements and audits. He also has work experience in sales, pre-press, print buying, contract oversight, marketing and state government. Jim is a 1980 graduate of Miami University (Ohio), where he received bachelor's degrees in mass communication and political science. He lives with his wife and two daughters in the Atlanta area.

Nick is Vice President of Circulation and Database Development for Hanley Wood, LLC, the leading business information supplier in the residential and commercial construction industry. He was previously Vice President, Circulation for Intertec Publishing, a Primedia division, and has also held positions at Crain Communications, International Thomson, and Cahners Publishing. He has served on both the Government Affairs Committee and the Circulation Committee for American Business Media, the Circulation Managers Advisory Committee for BPA International, and the Mailers Technical Advisory Committee of the US Postal Service. He is also a recipient of the Angelo R. Venezian award from the National Trade Circulation Foundation, recognizing service to the circulation profession and the business media industry.
